Description

A deliciously moistApple Breadbaked to perfection and spiced up with cinnamon, cloves, and all spice. It’s the perfect “grab and go” breakfast bread!

Ingredients

  • 1 cupall purpose flour
  • 1/2 cupof whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoonbaking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  • 2 teaspoonscinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoonall spice
  • 1/4 teaspoonground cloves
  • 2large eggs
  • 1/4 cupcanola oil
  • 1/4 cupapplesauce
  • 1 teaspoonvanilla
  • 3/4 cupsugar
  • 2 cupschopped apples, skin removed (I used Granny Smith)
  • 1/2 cupof pecans pieces {finely diced}

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350. Spray an 8×4 loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside.

  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the eggs and beat on medium until scrambled. Add in oil, applesauce, and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Next, add the sugar and mix until well combined.
  4. Slowly add in the flour mixture and mix until flour is barely combined.
  5. Gently fold in the apple chunks and pecan pieces. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until loaf is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool bread in pan for 10 minutes.
  8. Cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
