Description

A great healthy alternative to french fries, theseBaked Asparagus Friesare made with a light Lemon HerbAiolifor dipping. They’re such a fun and tasty appetizer!

Ingredients

Asparagus Fries:

  • 2lb.s of asparagus spears
  • 1 cupof panko
  • 1/3 cup帕尔玛的
  • 1/2 teaspoonof dry basil
  • 3egg whites, beaten

Lemon Herb Aioli

  • 2汤匙of your favorite fresh herbs {thyme, basil, rosemary}
  • juice of1lemon
  • 1/2 cupof mayo
  • 1/8 teaspoonof garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. In a small bowl mix panko, parmesan, and dry basil.
  3. In another small bowl, lightly beat egg whites.
  4. Dunk the Asparagus spears in beaten eggs white first then in the panko mixture.
  5. Place on baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. In the meantime, in a small bowl mix, fresh herbs, lemon juice, garlic powder, and mayo. Set aside.
  7. Remove asparagus fries from the oven and serve with the aioli.
